The eager idealisms that define youth have minimal sense of practical application. The world is oversimplified between two polarities that naturally provoke the other. The concept of equality for all is attractive. Causes that champion social justice condemn a world rife with oppression and exploitation. The convergence of both inspires atrocities against standing populations. Perhaps time turns people into pragmatists in ways they never thought possible. This is especially true in pluralistic societies cemented together by inalienable rights. Not everyone develops the intellectual capacity to shed their ideological naivety for practical reasons. Hence, overgrown children in adult form are aplenty. Clinging onto nuances touting a better world are stark reminders of what is possible under ideal conditions. A person’s first major intellectual breakthrough happens when imperfection is recognized as a universal staple of humanity.
People feel exceptionalized without realizing that a better way of life is achieved through sacrificial merit; as far as intellectual and even material matters are concerned. When egalitarianism is combined absolutely with identicism, reciprocity overtakes mediocrity which takes away any incentive to go beyond the bare minimum. How do groups of people preserve the value of their worth if society deems that each person should never exceed the capacity of another? What follows is demoralization as a disenfranchised population is absorbed into a faceless welfare state. The governance of human affairs is best acquired when balances are established to preserve the rule of law under meritocracy. This would be achieved through a system of consequences to be applied as imperatives to human survival inspired by the deliberation of rights through justice.
The likes of which could one day prove to be the best alternative to democracy. Tyranny by majority results in nothing but the suppression of the minority where the latter is continually pressed to defend its right to exist. There is however the question of inalienability which defends rights that are irrevocably human; the implementation of which would support a population of dignified inhabitants. Its foundations detailed by the two inseparable yokes of both. Classism is a byproduct of human organization which breaks down into the mobilization of effort making the works of civilization possible. Populations reap what they sow and when society retreats into a void of faceless minimalism, people begin to feel deprived of any genuine worth.
Interdependence breeds communalism out of necessity; after all, human survival demands it. However, egalitarianism, when applied as the supreme law of the land, challenges the necessity of laws and the institutions that enforce them. That ultimately threatens civilization with anarchy which destroys any foundation or hope for peace.
Humans contribute to the common good based on industrious intuition which has its wealth in a common merit as opposed to an isolated materialism.
